Trip to Baton Rouge

We went down to Baton Rouge the weekend of Labor Day for a weekend of family visits and LSU football! We got to spend some time with my cousins, the "Baton Rouge Middleton's" and got to see Adam's family that lives down there. Thomas got to meet his great-grandparents, Nanee and Paw Paw! And, of course, we had to take a picture of the 4 generations of Blanchers...so neat! I was also excited because Thomas got to show his Tiger-pride by wearing an LSU outfit that his Uncle Brian and Aunt Jenna had given him!

The New Family Heading to Church!

This was our first Sunday taking Thomas to church. All went well and he didn't even soil his "church outfit" contrary to tradition! It was so fun seeing everyone again and getting all of these boys together...oh what the church has in store!

Meeting Megan

This weekend, we got to spend some time with my cousin, Megan, who was in town for her baby shower. She and her husband, Russell, are expecting a son in early November, whose name is going to be Will! We are very excited for them and are even more excited for Thomas and Will to get to be good friends and close family members. I think she's going to take to this whole motherhood thing really well...

First Walk

We took Thomas out for his first walk this week. We were having one of those beautiful, not-too-hot days so we thought we'd give it a try. Thomas loved his stroller...slept through most of the walk. And Mommy got a good sweat out of it...those strollers can get heavy to push!
